Picnic Snacks

Charles had a little bubble blowing picnic for the kids this evening while I ran around the track.

Anna is a very good cheerleader ... "go mommy, go faster!"

Sam got to wear his new summer cap.

Sleeping With Stitch

This is what I found in Anna's bed this morning.

She got up in the middle of the night to move Stitch, the bubble blower, onto her bed and cover him up with his own warm, cozy.

Pop pop's let Anna pick out the cake .. "NO TINKERBELL CAKE FOR YOU MOMMY! She is for me."

Outdoors With Dad

Charles stayed home last week on Thursday and Friday to watch Anna and Sam while I was at work. I worked last week and I will work all next week so it has be a big help to have Nana, Pop pop's, and Charles help out so much with everything. Since the weather was nice they spent most of there time in the backyard blowing bubbles.

Tricycle Built For Two

Pop pop's bought a second seat for Anna's tricycle, so Sam could join in on the fun this summer. We went a few blocks tonight to test it out. Anna thought it was really fun to show Sam around the neighborhood and she LOVED being the "driver." She told everyone who would listen to her that "the driver gets to make all the rules!"

Correct Use Of The Word

"Don't step in dog poop otherwise your shoes will get all icky." Anna

Little Red Wagon

Today was yard work day around here. Since Sam did not like the grass tickling his legs he sat in the red wagon and played with his toys. Anna spent most of the day helping us out, sliding on her slide, re-arranging the Mickey and Minnie statues, and sitting in the wagon with Sam.

Fancy Tea Party Joy

Anna went to a fancy dress up tea party today. She has been super excited about this party. She picked out her skirt and fancy shoes to wear. She was really excited to tell me all the party favors "MATCHED!!!" her outfit once she got into the car to go home.

Anna had been asking me all sorts of questions related to this tea all afternoon and I hope that I was able to help her "be prepared" for the tea party joy.

The Bunny Delivered

The bunny left a trail of eggs for Anna to follow.

When she found the prizes, Anna was really good about leaving Sam's toy's alone. She was excited for Sam to see what the rabbit left him.

And she got to eat candy before breakfast.

Easter Egg Hunt

We went over to Nana and Pop pop's house today for an Easter egg hunt near their house. Anna has been practicing for this event at our hose by having me hide goldfish crackers in the eggs in the living room and then she finds them and eats the snacks.

Nana and Anna (she is the small child with the red hood) are lined up and waited for the rope to drop.

Sam and Charles stayed back, away from the huge crowds, and watched Anna hunt.

All the kids rush the field to search for the eggs.

Anna ended picking up five eggs! She was pretty happy with the prize candy and a dime.

Afterwards we played at Nana's house. We dyed eggs (well mostly me), watched a new movie that the Easter Bunny left for Anna over there, and ate dinner. Anna helped to decorate the table. We had a great day and a fun Easterish day.

It's A Small World The Dress

Nana finished one of Anna's new dresses last night with the fabric Anna picked out. Anna likes it a lot and we had a hard time geeting her to swap it for PJ's tonight.

Pig In A Fabric Store

Yesterday, Nana asked Anna if she wanted to go to the fabric store and pick out some material for a new dress. She was less then interested in going to the fabric store, or even out for ice cream.

But today Anna's preschool read the book If You Give A Pig A Pancake today. When Anna got in to the car she told me "I don't want to go to the pancake store. I want to go to the fabric store." The sales lady helped her pick out the fabric and pick out corresponding fabric. I am kind of excited to see what Nana will be able to come up with.

This fabric is her favorite. Anna has seen pictures of the It's A Small World ride in Disneyland. She sang the small world song to the sales lady when she saw the fabric.

Stella By Anna

Anna has been taking better pictures with her camera. She just ends up taking lots of photos of Stella .. well mainly lots of photo's of the backside of Stella.

Spring Cleaning

We went over to Nana's house today for a visit and to "help" clean out the little house today.

Sam spent some time in sitting the grass, and being held, and being held ...

Anna had a little bunny snack to fuel up after a long hard day of work.
