Sleeping Sammy

Since Sam has recently decided that he will sleep for a few hours at a time I thought I would share two sleep photo's. He has become very sweet to put down now. He currently spends more (of the awake) time playing and looking around and less time yelling and crying when you put him down to sleep.

The first photo, taken last night, is of "Houdini Sam" who managed to wriggle out of his swaddler and kick it to the end of his crib.

This photo was taken tonight. Sam is sleeping near his new favorite toy Giraffe (Thanks Laura Lee). He spent an hour squealing like a three year old girl, playing with it in his crib before falling asleep.

Nana made the beautiful blanket that Sam is sleeping on top of. I forget what the pattern is called .. I think very difficult :) The colorful quilt that is hanging on the side of the crib was made for Sam by Mrs. Ellie. She is a wonderful friend to my mother and our family, we are lucky to have her in our lives. She also made Anna her pink heart quilt that we use everyday.
